To get an API token in Zendesk carry out the steps below:
- Click “Admin Center" >> Apps and Integrations >> Zendesk API:
- Make sure “Token access” is enabled:
- Click on "Add API token” sign right to “Active tokens”:
- Enter an “API token description” - it is not mandatory but it helps to identify its purpose in the future.
- Copy an “API code” and store it somewhere.
- Click “Save”.
- Done! A brand new token is created.
