How to set up Forwarder?

Please note that you should be a Zendesk Admin to install the Forwarder App. 

1. Install the Forwarder app from Zendesk Marketplace. 

2. Use the coupon code NOCC to skip the credit card step during signup. You can add your card later, once the 2-week free trial ends.

3. Enable role and group restrictions if necessary and complete the installation:

You can set up a custom domain to be used exclusively by Forwarder for sending and receiving emails. For detailed instructions, see our guide: How to send emails from my domain with Forwarder app?

Test Forwarder

Open any Zendesk ticket and find the Forwarder app on the right sidebar:

• Enter the e-mail your want to forward the Zendesk ticket to and press Enter or click the + button;
• Specify subject and leave a comment (optional);
• Choose which comments you want to forward;
• Click Forward:

Check e-mail to see the incoming message:

Reply to the email, then return to the ticket—the reply should appear shortly:
