How to receive messages from Discord to Zendesk?

OAPPS Discord for Zendesk works with both private and public messages. To receive messages from your Discord to Zendesk, follow these steps below:

1. Connect the Discord server you want to receive messages from to Zendesk: How to connect Discord to Zendesk?

2. Our bot will be added to your connected server:

3. To receive private messages from Discord to Zendesk use the command /help

4. To receive public messages (visible to everyone) from Discord to Zendesk use the @botmention 

5. These messages will be delivered to your Zendesk as tickets:

6. To receive message from Discord Private Channels, add the bot and its role to channel:

... and check that threads are enabled in the Channel Settings:

7. For public threads (created via @botmention), make sure that the option "Process bot @mentions" is enabled in your account Advanced settings:

8. Once a message reached Zendesk, you can reply to that messages directly from a Zendesk ticket and it will be sent back to Discord.
