Installation:
- Find Notifier in Zendesk Marketplace and click on Free Trial:
2. Select the domain you want the app to be installed on and click on Install:
3. Add your billing details.
On this step you can also enable restrictions either for some roles or group (but it can also be done later):
4. After the app is installed, go to Support and grant all the requested permissions by clicking on Allow access:
5. Allow to access your Zendesk so that we can push notifications:
Enable Notifications:
6. Right after you can enable web push notifications to stay updated, even if you're on another page
7. Click on the setting gear to enable/disable:
- Browser Web Push;
- Pop-up notifications in Zendesk;
- Notification Events;
- Configure notification sound and volume:
Testing:
Assign a ticket to yourself and check for notifications when the ticket is updated by a requester.
Broadcasting:
You can broadcast a message either to some specific groups or to all your Zendesk agents. Just switch to Broadcasting tab, leave a message and select a group or leave empty to send a message to all agents:
